Prior to becoming a premier manufacturer of an Asthma monitor (digital peak flow meter) in the respiratory healthcare industry, Shanghai Sonmol had already established itself as a leading figure in chronic respiratory disease controller in this industry with its self-built telehealth platform.
We’ve recognized the whole industry is challenging on several crucial factors influenced the effectiveness of diagnosing,monitoring,and controlling in traditional asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).These challenges include delayed response to the symptoms of the patients ,difficulties in timely communication with doctors, in addition, inaccurate spirometer readings, untimely transmission of respiratory data,irregular recordings,and suboptimal adherence to medication inhalation,the above factors create barriers to the disease management.
Synthesizing the aforementioned issues in the regular management process of Asthma and COPD, we have developed and integrated electronic peak flow meters and smart inhalers designed for use with pMDI into our remote patient monitoring (RPM) management system. These devices are capable of delivering the patients’ respiratory conditions in real time, medication details, changes, triggers, symptoms, etc., via our RPM system to the healthcare provider’s end. In return, doctors can promptly track and set alarms for patients’ conditions, prescribe and adjust medications, ensuring seamless and timely management without gaps.
Evidences we have collected from the practise demonstrates significant improvements in patient compliance, management efficiency, registration numbers,and decreased the acute attacks.Furthermore we have pioneered the revolution in respiratory rehabilitation management with an data transmission respiratory muscle trainer(RMT)with an electronic manometer. It presents the training performance and improvements to both of healthcare providers and patients. It enhances the patient’s lung vital capacity, the ventilation, and improved the maximum oxygen uptake. It indirectly contribute to overall respiratory function.
